Cancellation Policy

At AVVAs Stays, we strive to provide our guests with a comfortable and flexible booking experience. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the terms under which you may cancel your booking and how refunds are processed.
1. Reservation & Payment
  • All bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the full payment or the advance amount specified at the time of booking.
  • Payments can be made via our website, bank transfer, UPI, or authorized third-party booking partners.
2. Cancellation Policy
a. For Direct Bookings (via AVVAs Stays website or phone/email)

We operate on a credit policy for cancellations, meaning your applicable amount will remain as credit for up to six months from the original booking date.

Please note:

  • There are no cash or bank refunds for bookings.
  • 20% of the total booking amount is always non-refundable.
  • Cancellation before 30 days of check-in: 80% credit (80% of the booking amount)
  • Cancellation between 16 – 30 days of check-in: 75% credit
  • Cancellation between 15 – 8 days of check-in: 50% credit
  • Cancellation within 7 days of check-in: No credits

Additional Terms:

  • Credits can be used for a single future booking within six months of the original booking date.
  • Credits are transferable to friends or family.
  • Credits must be utilized in one transaction and are applicable only on stays (not on meals).
  • Any unused credit after six months will lapse.
  • If future stay tariffs are higher, the guest must pay the difference.
  • Future booking will be confirmed upon 50% advance payment.
b. For Bookings Made Through Third-Party Platforms

If you booked through websites like Airbnb, Booking.com, or MakeMyTrip, their cancellation policies will apply. Please refer to their respective terms for refunds and processing timelines.

3. No-Show Policy
  • If you do not arrive on the scheduled check-in date and have not informed us in advance, the entire booking amount will be forfeited.
  • The booking will be automatically cancelled after the first night of no-show.
4. Early Check-Out / Shortened Stay
  • If you decide to leave before your scheduled check-out date, no refund will be provided for unused nights.
  • In exceptional cases (medical emergency, natural disaster, etc.), management may consider a partial refund at its sole discretion.
5. Modifications & Date Changes
  • Date changes are subject to room availability and rate differences.
  • If the modified booking rate is higher, the guest must pay the difference.
  • Cancellations after modification will follow the original booking’s cancellation policy.
6. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Circumstances)

If a booking must be cancelled due to events beyond our control – such as natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or road blockages – AVVAs Stays will:

  • Offer to reschedule your booking without extra cost, or
  • Provide a credit voucher valid for a future stay within 6 months.
